Last year the dock wasn't floating , not enough water in the lake. Will be interesting to see how low the Manchester Water Department lets the water level get this year.

What to do when the power goes out and you are hungry

It's 4 am and the alarm goes off, sigh, drag your body out of bed grab a cup of coffee to try and wake up. Not 15 minutes go by and the power goes out, great... Start a fire in the fireplace drag out the oil lamps and quickly pour the coffee into a thermos so it doesn't get cold. It's been snowing all night and the wife has to get into work early so I am off to clean the driveway with the snow blower. 45 minutes later with that task complete, both the wife and I say we are hungry at the same time, so I ask "what do you want eggs and bacon"? "How are you going to do that"? she says, hehehe watch this...
